Technical Skills Needed:

  • Experience with CakePHP
  • 2+ years experience in web application development
  • 2+ years experience in object-oriented analysis and design
  • Familiarity with Model-View-Controller methodology
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, Ajax and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Unit Tests
  • Experience with database design and implementation

  • IT qualification or equivalent relevant experience

The Cake Development Corporation is seeking a talented Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for day-to-day client services and satisfaction. The Account Manager will provide superb customer service and represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality.

The successful candidate will have a firm working knowledge of CakeDC’s services and capabilities, and must demonstrate his or her ability to maintain and initiate relationships with existing and new clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue
  • Communication between the client and the development team
  • Contracts and contract renewals for new work for an existing client
  • Payment collections, change orders and invoices
  • Quality reviews of all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, function spec, tech spec, etc.)
  • Completion of processes and procedures, quality standards, and project profitability
  • Continuous knowledge of project status and identification of potential issues or opportunities

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant account management experience
  • Technical knowledge of CakeDC’s capabilities and services
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal direction

Standard performance measurements will focus on sales, profitability, and growth percentage within the business unit, as well as on the development and maintenance of a strong pipeline of new customers. The Cake Development Corporation is seeking a talented Sales Manager to identify new business opportunities and potential areas for expansion. The successful candidate can effectively communicate CakeDC’s capabilities and services to new and existing clients, and serve as the primary contact between clients and the development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and growing an account list, handling incoming leads and closing sales
  • Development and/or maintenance and improvement of business relations with all clients
  • Development of a Strategic Marketing Plan (both offline and online) with the Senior Staff
  • All sales activities, departments and personnel involved in sales and marketing, including hiring, firing, and training
  • Management and control of the sales budget
  • Analysis of sales statistics to determine business growth potential
  • Coordination of sales operations with all other departments/divisions of CakeDC
  • Collaboration with the Product and Marketing teams to develop new products and services
