Adam Rusinowski is a professional programmer gaining years of experience since the beginning his career in 2004. He discovered CakePHP in 2006, and has enjoyed using it in the vast majority of his projects ever since. Before joining CakeDC in 2022, he worked several years as a freelancer on projects in the NGO, financial, advertising, telecommunications, and parenthood industries. During his time on these projects he was responsible for planning, proper implementation of client requirements, and delivering a tested and stable product. One of his biggest selling points is the attention to detail. Adam takes great joy making sure the code is clean, well-commented and follows the best known programming patterns. He is a constant learner, always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow as a developer.

Position Details:

Technical Skills Needed:
- Expert knowledge of CakePHP
- 2+ years experience in web application development
- 2+ years experience in object-oriented analysis and design
- Familiarity with the Model-View-Controller pattern
- Experience with XHTML, XML, HTML 4/5, CSS 2/3, JavaScript and Ajax
- Experience with database design and implementation
- Experience with unit tests
Other Requirements:
- IT qualification or equivalent relevant experience
- Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Good team player, who is self motivated and well organized
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Passionate about open-source, improving skills and sharing knowledge
Desired but not required:
- Experience with C++, Java, Objective-C, ActionScript
